Biography
Teresa Calvão is Assistant Professor at NOVA School of Science and Technology, NOVA University Lisbon (FCT NOVA) for more than 30 years. She holds a BSc in Environmental Engineering (1982) and a Ph. D. in Environmental Sciences, Natural Systems, in FCT/UNL (2000). She teaches the following courses: General Ecology, Terrestrial Ecology, Climate, Soil and Soil Pollution, Topography and Technologies of Geographic Information and Data Analysis and Simulation in Environment, to the Environmental Engineering MSc. She is a full member of CENSE research group. Her main research interests are remote sensing of vegetation, forest systems response to pests and climate changes and landscape analysis.
