João Campôa is a PhD student under the Doctoral Program in Environment and Sustainability at NOVA School of Science and Technology | FCT NOVA. His research work is focused on the impact of biotic and abiotic disturbances and their interaction with forests’ development.
He collaborated in scientific projects related to the impact of the pinewood nematode and the impact of climate change on pine forests. He has an Integrated Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from FCT NOVA. In his master thesis, João studied the climatic impact on P. pinaster and P. pinea growth.
