Isabel J. Nobre's academic background is centered in mathematics, holding a master’s degree from FCUL and having worked as a researcher at the Center for Computational and Stochastic Mathematics. She has also worked as a software developer at WorldIT and is now enrolled in the Environment and Sustainability Ph.D. program at NOVA School of Science and Technology.
She aims to study the use of artificial intelligence tools to promote sustainable agriculture on the Water-Energy-Food- Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus, working alongside the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
She is also enthusiastic about illustration - having a published comic book - and education. She is a founder and manager of an association Política para Ti - which promotes political participation and knowledge among Portuguese youth - and she integrates civil society organizations that promote climate justice.
